Pertandingan Lagu Patriotik

DAY 36

I love music very much. Life without music is like no meaning at all……

AT first I thought I will have to go through 70 days in camp Syruz without any musical instrument by my side, but I was wrong. My life seems to be connected to music in some way, it’s like I’m away for NS which means I’ll be away from home where I practice my piano everyday..…it seems like there wont be any chance for me to touch the piano n harmonica for 70 days…….n all of a sudden my parents sent it to me during one of their visit……wow, …I had my harmonica with me now.haha……

We had the PERTANDINGAN LAGU PATRIOTIK on the 36th day. My class – Class 4 aka Class Cikgu Lim last minute decided to perform the song entitled SEJAHTERA MALAYSIA, my favourite song since I was 4 yrs old. haha…actually I suggested that song coz it’s easier to sing compared to those JOGET MALAYSIA, ……n dunno wat song suggested by the malay girls.

We had Wazie, Shalyn, n Puvenes to read out 3 Pantuns (written by Wei Meng) b4 all of us started singing: Puji dan Syukur pada Ilahi…….~ accompanied by my harmonica.

It was my first time playing harmonica at camp Syruz. It was also my first time I c all eyes looking at me, n the usually-very-noisy-DEWAN MAKAN became so quiet, it was like drop dead silence……..i mean I’ve experienced many different kinds of performances n this is the first time I had all my spectators so quiet……..

When I started playing my harmonica, I accidentally switch off the mic. Alamak! I noticed that but I cnt stop now n switch it on again coz if I do like that I might ruin the whole performance. Sorry ya! So, I continued playing louder n louder till I had a feeling that I’m gonna say goodbye to my harmonica after this. well, the reeds nearly break, Nearly la……ho chai it not yet spoil gok……haha…..Thanks to the audience for being so quiet that moment so that our judges can still hear our performance.

Singers form class 4 sang very well, not that I’m praising my frens but it’s true, they really did their best that day compared to the day b4 competition, we all were like SHIT!. yat pek si……just like a pile of dung, their singing was totally awful! their singing b4 the competition can even make ur hair stand , mo kui chang….only one word : eerie~~….coz out of pitch most of the time…….

We got the 4th place in he competition, which means no prize for us coz only 1st, 2nd, n 3rd got prize nya…….no luck ……but I know my frens really tried their best d.

U guys really did very well that night!

Wow....I really shocked when I heard the harmonica sounds....
Before the competition...I already hear it when I am washing my plate at the back of the canteen...

And I didn't expected that someone really know how to play a harmonica beside than me!!!
That joy give me courage......"to search the girl that play the harmonica..." haha.

That why i know you now....

Teardrops of sorrows

teardrops
is a sign of fragility
it symbolizes feebleness
that was what i used to have in my mind.
sorrow
has been part and parcel of life
gloomy-days will always come
downcast is inevitable
all these years
life has proven to me that shedding tears isn't a solution to problem,
no matter how much tears i've shed,
stockpiles of them are still there waiting for me
Now,
I'm 'immuned' to sorrows,
I've casted a shielding spell that'll protects me from woe
teardorps of sorrows will never be alive
this i promise myself
it'll never invade my life ever again.
