Lead(II) Iodide cyrstals

We did the Equilibrium and Solubility Chemistry Practical today.
It was real fun compared to the previous two, lol....(the previous praticals was like chaos in the lab.....haih...)
Everytime we had chem praticals, there will surely be someone who will accidentally pipette the solutions into their mouths......hahaha....i kena before too....hehe
Back to the main topic:
The solutions used for today's pratical were aqueous lead(II) nitrate with different concentrations(0.25,0.10,0.05,0.02,0.01 mol dm-3)
and potassium iodide 0.01mol dm-3 .
PH and LT accidentally sucked the 0.25 M solution into their mouths. Lol, Ph even said it tastes sweet....haha...but lead is very harmful.....

No photos on the practical coz we did it at SCHOOL. Cameras ARE NOT allowed remember?

Our Hasil turasan : PbI2 crystals

NOno, not tesco tissue paper.....

Can you see the crystals?

Taadaa!

They really looked like gold! Especially when the sparingly soluble solids were formed in the aqueous solutions.......they did SHINE like GOLD!

Fake GOld!

FAiry dust perhaps!

hahaha.....

Teardrops of sorrows

teardrops
is a sign of fragility
it symbolizes feebleness
that was what i used to have in my mind.
sorrow
has been part and parcel of life
gloomy-days will always come
downcast is inevitable
all these years
life has proven to me that shedding tears isn't a solution to problem,
no matter how much tears i've shed,
stockpiles of them are still there waiting for me
Now,
I'm 'immuned' to sorrows,
I've casted a shielding spell that'll protects me from woe
teardorps of sorrows will never be alive
this i promise myself
it'll never invade my life ever again.
