Before NS..........part2......

Time flies……… yr 2006 has arrived. Me, like everyone else will have to sit for the SPM in NOV.. In the meantime, those who were born in yr 1989 will also get to know whether are we LUCKY enough to be chosen for National Service or not…….

One day, somewhere in the month of Sept.06, I was in my dad’s car on my home after school. feeling kinda sleepy, so I decided to take a nap n at that very moment I closed my eyes, I heard an ad on Lite and Easy FM sounding :” name of trainees chosen for yr 2007 NS training is available at this web http://www.khidmatnegara.gov.my.......” ………..sth like that…cnt remember the ad clearly……all of a sudden I became so not sleepy coz part of me’s nervous n anxious, cnt wait to know whether m I the LUCKY ones……chosen.

Finally, I reached home. I straight away sit in front of my pc, so eager to find out the name list. Well, the result I got for my 1^st attempt was : No KP anda tidak terdapat dalam senarai yang terpilih.. Oh, YES!!! YES!!!haha…..’c la, I’m not that lucky to get selected 1 la,’.i told my mom……I was over the moon then, I spread the news to almost all my frens……Then , a fren asked me “ did u key in the hyphen ‘-‘ symbol when u type ur IC no?......If u did , don’t b so happy yet, go back n check again. Omit all the hyphens, just numbers………” “ OMG!!! gai liao, I type in all the hyphens wor…….check again??!! what if…….??? What if I’m really LUCKY…….ARGH!!!!!!. So I went back n check again n I get the this : TAHNIAH!, Anda telah dipilih untuk menyertai PLKN siri 4/2007……….sth like that , cnt remember the whole thing, I only remember the word TAHNIAH….. What the….?!Tahniah ur head la….should have been written this way : HARAP MAAF/TAKZIAH, ANDA telah dipilih……..blahblahblah….ok, I’m crappin again……

what I’m trying to say is who the hell will feel happy to be the CHOSEN ONES???huh??3 months WITHOUT PC, NO PIANO, NO washing machine……no nothing!......argh! 3 months eh……ALAMAK!!!!

well, somewhere in the month of Dec.06, a postman came bringing GOOD NEWS to me. I was sleeping that afternoon when he came with an envelope full of forms from JABATAN LATIHAN KHIDMAT NEGARA.

postman : YEE HUI FANG, ada kat rumah tak? minta dia sign ni.

Mom : dia tengah tidur, saya mak dia, boleh saya tandatangan bagi pihak anak saya?

postman : Tak. Tolong kejutkan dia skejap, minta dia sign kat sini………..

Alright! my mom woke me up at the moment I saw my prince charming in my dreamland…riding a white horse….my pak ma wong chi ……….(juz kidding)I signed the stupid thing just as a proof to make sure I receive the notification letter to SERVE my beloved country.

I opened the envelope n found a lot of forms : the notification letter, BORANG PENANGGUHAN….…….WAHLAU……sumore need to go medical check up ar??? this holiday aledi not like holiday d coz need to sit for SPM….after SPM got a lot of activities going on like going shopping…..haha….sumore need to go check up! haiz…..i hate going to the GH coz have to wait for the whole day wasting my precious time for a stupid check up.

Mom n dad was quite worried. mom even suggested me to defer it coz she's afraid I might not be able to stand the life over there. Well, luckily I didn’t….or else I wont b here writing this anymore la…..;P I told them not to worry about me n I’ll take care of myself. Only 3 months nya ma…...ok,” 3 months there will b like 3 yrs….” tat was what I was thinking that time…….. I’m doomed!!! A lot of questions running in my mind that time :

• how to wash clothes without using washing machine????
• aiyoh, need to wash my plates after every meal!!!!
• CHAM liao la, i hate eating spicy food esp curry........
  
• NO PIANO for me to practise everyday wor........
• No computer.....cnt on9 d.......
• No MP4.......no music no life......
• MARCHING?!?!?!......hvnt march b4 eh.......dunno how 2 march la

and here comes the worst part :

• Tee yee said must share food there........huh??!! what? share food...as in not having my own fork n spoon n also my own cup.....ARGH!!!!!!so unhygienic!!!...i DONT share my food with ppl....not even my frens, my sis...there's NO WAY i'm gonna share my food with ANYONE......(sorry ya Memorable 8 members) how m i gonna survive??!!!!
• another point is SUNBURN........my frens that already been to NS training came back looking like overcook pancake.??!!....CHAU HUI TA.........!!!!!imagine everyday under the hot sun MARCHING, TTS, ......ARGH!!!!. I hate the SUN la.......if u dont believe ask my frens n c.....they know my character.....i will always take an umbrella with me......to protect me from the sun......haha.......
