Do u agree with Confucius’s quote: a picture is worth a thousand words?
This was a question a professor from the MIT asked during his talk in my school this morning.
According to the professor, the mentioned that there is actually a way to calculate how many words a picture is worth……..amazing huh?
(1 x 108 bytes/picture) / (1 s 101 bytes/word) = 1 x 10 7 words
1 Han character = 2 bytes
There is basically 10 000 000 words in a picture according to this professor. He added that a Han character is equivalent to 2 bytes...there fore, we mathematically it is correct to say that a picture is worth ten million words........haha.....However, Confucius said there's only a thousand words in a picture........well, maybe during his time,..........people's thought are different.....(haha, i know it was just an expression.......)
I cant hear clearly most of the things the professor was saying because there was some git sitting near me singing out loud.....while the professor was talking on the stage. Oh gosh, u wan sing u go back to your class n sing or join the school choir or go back to your house and sing in the bath room la.......cha luannya.......
Well, do u really think a picture is only worth a thousand words?think again......
